If you lose your registration key go to the Registration Recovery page in the Support section of the ScreenRest website. Enter the email address you used when you purchased ScreenRest and we will send you an email containing your registration key. - When I paste my Registration Key into the required field the OK button does not activate.

The text is part of your ScreenRest Registration Key and must be selected for the key to be complete. - Can I install the software on more than one of my computers, such as both my desktop and my laptop?

Using ScreenRest
- Why does the microrest timer sometimes reset even if I am not doing anything?
If the microrest timer keeps resetting, please check to see if your mouse pointer is slowly moving on its own. This is usually caused by your optical mouse moving the pointer due to its high sensitivity. Often this it easily fixed by just moving the mouse slightly. If the mouse continues to move the pointer it is probably best to use a mouse mat–you may also find that the mouse becomes more accurate and responsive. - A window has popped up called ‘ScreenRest Problem’, what is this?
The ScreenRest Problem dialog is activated when ScreenRest has encountered an internal error. If you click ‘Send’ then a report of the error ScreenRest encountered will be sent to us. There are also two optional fields, the first allows you to provide a description of what you were doing when the problem happened, which may help us diagnose the cause, the second is your email address. All information we receive via this process is confidential and you are able to view a copy of the report before you send it. - I have exited ScreenRest and then restarted my computer and ScreenRest starts running.
If you do not want ScreenRest to run on start-up you need to remove it from the ‘Startup’ menu.
To do this, in your Windows ‘Start’ menu go to ‘Programs’ -> ‘Startup’, right click on ScreenRest and then select ‘Delete’. - Why does clicking the Close button, or pressing Alt+F4, not exit ScreenRest?
By default ScreenRest closes to the system tray so that it can continue monitoring your computer usage.
If you would prefer that clicking the Close button, or pressing Alt+F4, causes ScreenRest to exit, this can be changed in the preference settings. This is done by opening the Preferences dialog box, choosing the General page and deselecting the option Place ScreenRest in the system tray when closed.
