Step-by-step Instructions for Installing ScreenRest

1. When you run the ScreenRest installer, the ScreenRest Setup dialog will appear, with the Welcome page shown first.

   Throughout the setup process there will be three command buttons available:

   • Back (Not available on the Welcome page)
     Takes you to the previous ScreenRest Setup page.
   • Next
     Takes you to the next ScreenRest Setup page.
   • Cancel
     Will end the ScreenRest Setup dialog, without installing ScreenRest on your computer.

2. The License Agreement page displays the contents of the ScreenRest end user license agreement (EULA).  Please review the license agreement, and if you agree with the terms, select I accept the agreement option button.  Click Next to continue with the setup process.

3. The Select Destination Location page will give you the option to change where, on your computer, you would like the ScreenRest to be installed.  Click Next to continue with the setup process.

4. The Select Start Menu Folder page will give you the option to change were you would like the program’s shortcuts to be placed in your Start Menu folder.  Click Next to continue with the setup process.

5. The Select Additional Tasks page will give you the option of how you would like ScreenRest to be installed.  There are two sub-headings on this page:

   Install ScreenRest for:

   • All users
     Will make ScreenRest available for everyone who has a login on the computer you installing ScreenRest on.  Please note that each user with a separate login will be able to set their own preference settings for ScreenRest.
   • The current user only
     ScreenRest will only be available when the current user is logged in to the computer.

   Additional icons:

   • Create a desktop icon
     When selected, this will place the ScreenRest bee icon on your desktop.  Please note if you have chosen to make ScreenRest available to all users then the desktop icon will also be placed on the desktop of each user.
     

   Click Next to continue with the setup process.

6. The Ready to Install page will confirm all of the settings that have been selected.  If you are happy with all of the options listed, click Install to begin installing ScreenRest on your computer.

7. The installation process will then begin and the Installing page will keep you informed of the progress.

8. Once ScreenRest has finished installing onto your computer, the ScreenRest Setup Complete page will inform you that the installation is complete.  Leaving the Launch ScreenRest check box selected will automatically run ScreenRest when you finish the setup process.

   Click Finish to close the ScreenRest Setup dialog.

9. When ScreenRest is run for the first time, the Setup Wizard will open and help you configure ScreenRest to suit your computing needs.
